1940's Panther Outfit

Thanks to Terry McDonald for this picture of his late Grandfather on his Panther outfit. It looks like an early 1940's model to me, but would appreciate a better ID if anyone can offer one. The picture was taken at the back of the Shoreham airport workshops where he was a toolmaker.
