Phelon & Moore 1938 Panther Model 95 Redwing 500cc.

A rare survivor from a limited experimental production run of a couple of hundred machines in the run up to World War II. This model was the 81st to be produced and remains one of only a handful still known to exist. Originally purchased by a George Munro from his local dealer 'Pride and Clarke' (P&C shop badge still attached to the front mudguard) the m/c passed on some 30 years later to another well known local owner one Alex Brett.
