1920's Coulson B

Thanks to Carrick Watson for this picture of a Coulson.

These were built between 1919 and 1924.  They built 347cc and 497cc side valve singles and also 497cc OHV V-twins with JAP engines. The last Coulson-B had a 346cc OHV Bradshaw engine with oil-cooling. Most models used a spring frame and Eric Longden gained many successes with F. Aslett Coulson designed machines. Originally made at Kings Cross, London , the factory was afterwards bought by A.W. Wall and eventually bought H.R. Backhouse & Co of Birmingham .
