The home of Vintage and Classic Motorcycles.....

1920's CAS

Thanks to John Braun for this delightful picture.  It shows his aunt Juci, sitting on the back of a motorcycle, taken sometime in the late 20's in Hungary. Unfortunately she cannot remember who the owner of the bike was. She is now 84 and living in Budapest.

Thanks to Wiebe Brouwe for identofying the bike as a CAS.  This is a Czech make. Based in Prague they were in busines between 1921 and 1924. They started with a scooter like the Autoped, later they made light motorcycles with own build twostroke engines. CAS stands for Ceska Automobilovea Spolecnost.
