1960 Matchless G1 Pinto |

A picture of a 15 year old Alan in Denver Colorado aboard his Matchless
G1. His father did not like him riding a Vespa. He considered Vespas unstable
and dangerous and wanted his son on a full sized two wheeler. Thus came
the brand new Matchless. He recons it to be 1959 or 60. Not three weeks
after delivery, he was hit by a truck. He walked away unhurt, and this
in the days of no helmets. |
