Triton

A beautifully styled Triton based on a T150V engine in a 1955 wideline frame.  This was sent in by Frank Barlow.  You can see his other work here..

Franks admits that most of the complicated engineering is down to his mate Mick Coldron.

The frame was by Mick at Royton Precision Tooling(RPT) with seat rail dropped to give the sat-in appearance. This was then modified by them to allow the engine to seat properly, without being too far back, too high or indeed leaning backwards and the Converta engine plates they bought at great expense were useless so they made their own.

The forks are from the T150V with a twin disc mod by LP Williams.
Manx Norton alloy short circuit tank with a modern filler fitted.
Calipers by Grimeca
Brake lever and reservoir are off the shelf CBR600 parts.
K&N air filters.
Alloy swinging arm by RPT also clip ons and rear sets too, although they modified the rear sets to fit.
Falcon gas shocks.
Seat by RPT
Fairing by Norvil modified mountings.
Exhaust is a modified Rob North 3 into 1, silencer made by them from a collection of bits and stainless (can is empty)
Wheels are 18 inch alloy rims, stainless spokes.
Rear hub is a modified BSA/Triumph conical hub (made to look like a Manx by them).
