1915 Harley Davidson 3 Speed |

This is a 1915 V Twin 989cc 3 Speed harley Davidson.
It was found in a hen-house in South West Ireland by it's current owner
in 1955. He restored it and rode it as a solo until 1987 when the
sidecar was added. This unique bike is regularly used on VMCC events
in this country and Ireland.
The bike has automatic oiling, all chain drive, twist grip controls and a robust clutch - all of which were very advanced features in 1915. Yet another bike displayed by the Dorset VMCC at the 2005 Bristol Classic Bike Show. |
