Many thanks to Larry Daniels of Iowa, USA for these pictures of his 71 ElectraGlide. He says: "A few much needed upgrades were done, BDL belt primary with chrome inner &outer covers, chrome rocker boxes, S&S super E carb, Dynatech 70,000 Volt electronic ignition, Heads totally rebulit, Bored once .010 over with 9-1 wiseco pistons, Paughco 2 into 1 headpipes with a fishtail, a new National Cycle windshield, new chrome spoke wheels and dunlop "Harley Davidson" tires, LePera solo frame mounted seat, a Barnett extra plate clutch and Chrome lots of chrome. Its fires up fast and runs like new. Don't waste your money on a run of the mill evo or twin cam. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting one around here. But people clammer around this old bike wanting to know What is it? what year is it?" |
