Ducati 175cc

Many thanks to Andy Farrer for identifying this bike as a 175 Ducati built using a road bike as a basis, owned by Lauro Micozzi from Macerata in Italy, and his used by him in the Giro. Lauro is a cheerful character, typical of the older Italian guys whom saw this type machines being used for real in their heyday, he makes a number of components for single cylinder Ducs, and can be seen around the ''scambio's'' in Italy.

This picture looks as if it has been taken at Imola,...judging by the white line, grass and safety barrier in the background, just near the last hairpin before the start/finish area!! (I am REALLY impressed by anybody who knows a circuit as well as that!)
