1948 Douglas Mark 3 |

Many thanks to Ian Klutke of Darwin, Australia for
this picture of a 1948 Mk3 Douglas 350 twin. This was his first
road bike, given to him by his Father in about 1957. Apparently it was
very reliable (it had to be being in the hands of a mechanically challenged
young man) with a top speed of about 75mph and was extremely comfortable,
especially on long rides
