Thanks to Jim Larkin for sending is this picture. Thanks aslo to Wiebe Brouwer of the Netherlands who says: This is a DKW E 250 build in 1927 or 1928, these are the only two
years this model was build. It has a 250 cc two-stroke engine and is fan
cooled. The gearbox is a three speed from Hirth, a German make. DKW's
were build in the city of Zschopau in Saxony. After the latest war the
MZ motorcycles came from this same factory. The registration number comes
also from the province of Saxony. I am sure about this bike because I
