1931 AJS R10

This is the machine that George Rowley rode in the 1931 TT along with his team mate Freddie Hicks. Hicks crashed and died of his injuries. George rode this bike in several European GPs that year and also at Brooklands.  The bike was subsequently adapted for ISDT use and he rode it as a member of the British Trophy Team in 1931 and 1932.    It was displayed at the 2005 Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show in Stafford.
