Thanks to Cyril Lofthus for this picture of his 1959 AJS Model 31 CSR bought new in 1959 from Jordan's of Story Street Hull.   A year later he sold it back to them and bought a Royal Enfield Constellation, also new. The photo was taken during the ACU National - a rally that required you to ride through England from 10:00 Saturday to 10:00 Sunday, 24 hours. There were hundreds of guys at it, going hell for leather all through the night, be a bit frowned on nowadays I
suppose.
